Facing changes not always easy. Especially when you didn’t want any change. Everything was fine. Everything was good and you wished all stay the same forever.
But even life looks static, every second millions of cells created and dying in our body. We consume, digest, produce. The air. The food. The information. Very important rule of life this tree-some: Consume – digest – produce. Even in fetus state, if this rule not working the baby don’t get born alive.
Today I want to talk about the importance of the three basic feature, because when you understand this, you will understand of the nature of change and it will help you to deal with the change.
Let’s split into individually them for a minute. When the balance is getting stronger to the favour of one the three, problems follows.
Consuming: We can put this mind-spirit- body level, is the same only the form is different.
Over consuming result fat body, slow digest, small producing. The digestion part can’t keep up with the given work, letting many rubbish in the body. Over consuming in mind when you take way too much information. For kids, a 2h Pixar movie full of fast changing scenes, many flashing light, loud, long unnecessary not understandable conversations. They got burn out in 30 minutes. But they like it, colourful, cute like candy.
Taking too much information lead to frustration.
Over consuming spiritually when you study, study but you don’t really practice, you stay on theoretical level. Smart but useless statement.
Under consuming is when the body starving. Doesn’t mean you are hungry or not eating. Starving means body does not get the needs fulfilled. Enough water. The right vitamins. The food which makes you stronger. Quality sleep. The right exercise.
Under consuming for the mind when you watch rubbish, read rubbish, talk rubbish. Doesn’t mean that you don’t follow the news or not reading books. Is just you don’t consume the right ones. They are helpless, useless, like candy ( or any drugs ) Giving the energy at the moment but leaving fatigue, empty feeling behind.
Spiritually is very similar, it’s like abandoning the fact that we are humans, we are here for a reason and your job to figure out what is it, then make it come true. Spiritually we neglect something important, to connect with ourself, with nature to be in peace with the world.
Digestion:When too much information coming in, it’s like a heavy unexpected rain. The bare ground can take a certain amount but the heavy rain is not going through, is just hitting the ground, bouncing back, creating flood. The water goes everywhere except where it should go. The body can’t keep up with the amount of food, doing less efficient work, slowing down. Food stacking in, dissolving where shouldn’t, and adding up slowly, causing various symptoms.
Not enough water forcing the body to use again the canal water of the body. You are not aware, but your body makes tremendous effort to keep on working with the given tools. So if there is no fresh water coming in, using old, dirty water of the body recirculating again. Not enough vitamins or damaging food is just pure harm for the body. It s like taking out bricks from your house randomly, and once is so weak it will collap.
Too much information will freeze you, you will be busy with little result. Your mind won’t know where to start to understand and use the given information. Useless, crumbs of information makes you lazy, too comfortable, superficial.
Producing:Depends on how the digestion is dysfunctional the result will follow accordingly. You can dry up and can not show any result for your efforts or you have poor quality outcome.
In mind, your work, creation will be unclear, little, superficial, not satisfying.
In spirit will be either arrogant or uninterested, frustrated and extreme in any form.
The point is to find the imbalance and take care of it. To find the harmony between the three stage.
What am I consuming? Is it supporting me? Is it the right quantity and quality?
How do I give myself permission for digestion? Do i create enough time to think, to move my body, to be? How do I like to digest? Talk with my best friend? Journaling? Doing sport? Hiking? Hours long walk with my dog?
What am I creating? How do I influence my environment? Do I give something to the people I love?
